of Odessa National Maritime University
MPP&O-2020

The conference is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Department of Ship Power Plants (SPP) and the Faculty of Marine Engineering of Odessa National Maritime University.

The aim of the conference is to honor the memory of the well-known in the country and abroad scientists of the SPP Department – professors Ivanovskij V. G., Fomin Yu. Ya., Semenov V. S. and other specialists who worked at Odessa National Maritime University for a long time at the Department of Ship Power Plants and the Technical Operation (SPP and TO). The scientific work of professors Ivanovskij V. G., Fomin Yu. Ya. and Semenov V. S. was aimed at modeling and diagnostics of marine power plants and, first of all, marine diesel engines as the main objects of ship power plants. The popularization of the scientific heritage of professors Ivanovskij V. G., Fomin Yu. Ya. and Semenov V. S. with the reference to their scientific biography and the coverage of topical issues in marine energy and related topics is the aim of the conference.
